Daniela Hernández Silva is a Colombian anthropologist. She is currently a PhD candidate in Territorial Development at FLACSO (Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences), Ecuador, co-host of the podcast Aula Divergente (part of the FreshEd podcast), and an adjunct professor of Community Development at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida, USA. She holds an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Educational Policies for Global Development (GLOBED) and has a specialization in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation from Harvard University. Her research has focused on rural education, social conflicts, sustainability, and social policies in remote areas of Latin America, especially in Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, and Venezuela. Currently, she leads Pazsos International, a nonprofit organization founded in 2024 that works to support the sustainability of initiatives led by community leaders and Latin American organizations aimed at alleviating poverty.
